About Us
Experienced Breeders
Here at River Valley Great Danes, we have been breeding for 8.5 years. All of our pups are raised inside my home and do not go outside until they have received their first set of shots at 6 weeks old. They are all registered with AKC and come with a 2 year genetic health guarantee. My 5 kids are in contact with the pups from the day they are born with direct supervision. We strive to raise our puppies to be very kid friendly and amazing family dogs. We start them on potty and crate training before they leave our home. Our dogs are apart of our family and I look for loving families for our amazing puppies to be apart of.
Happy, Healthy Bloodline
We have 7 females and 4 males. Our females are Remi, who is a harlequin, Cleo, who is a blanketed blue harlequin, Abby, who is a blue harlequin, Stella, who is a blue merle piebald, Raven, who is black, Elara, who is a piebald and Rose who is our Spanish import and a merle mantle. Our males are Cash, who is a blanketed brindle harlequin, Copper, who is a fawn, Bohden, who is a mantle piebald and our newest boy Felix, who is our Polish import, who is a blue brindle. All of our dogs are fed Sportmix kibble along with raw eggs and boiled chicken on occasion. We have American and Euro lines. All of our dogs have been color tested. We are also working on OFA testing for our breeding dogs as well. All of the dogs pedigrees can be seen by request. All of our dogs are very healthy and have no genetic issues.
A Furever Family Member
All of my dogs are amazing with our kids and are what I like to call "Velcro" danes. They follow me everywhere. They love to be next to us at all times, which is a dane thing. All of our past pups who have gone to homes with kids have been amazing with them. We do everything we can to make sure our puppies are very kid friendly. Our dogs also love the water and bath time. If you decide to welcome one of our babies into your family, you will be apart of our extended dane family for life. It is very important to me to see these babies grow and be loved by their new forever families.

"We bought our first dane from RVGD in Feb of 2019. We put our deposit down in December of 2018...the breeder had constant communication with us. We got weekly updates and pics of our puppy. She answered every question we had (we had a TON of questions) and offered to help in an way she could! We picked up Murphy on February 8th, he is a wonderful dog, very mild mannered and very sweet, a bit on the mischievous side as a puppy should be. We love our Dane so much and will hopefully continue to do business with them in the future! I HIGHLY recommend RVGD as a breeder!"
